🎙️ The Podcast is LIVE!! | 3 Episodes Available Right Now
The Human Freedom Project podcast has officially launched, and it would mean the world to me if you subscribed, listened and helped me celebrate its debut!
Dear friends,
This podcast is finally LIVE!
Scroll down to watch one or all of THREE of the initial episodes.
The Human Freedom Project will be available in audio format on Apple, and as a video/audio podcast on Spotify and YouTube.
As some of you know, this has been in development for over a year now. Podcasts are far more work than I ever anticipated (and I was expecting a LOT of work). Even though we are producing it with minimal equipment, no fancy studio or multi-angle cameras, getting this off the ground has been utterly humbling.
So, it would mean the world to me if you subscribed, downloaded, listened and/or watched one or more of the first episodes this week. 🥰
Also, we do not have sponsors and I am committed to being 100% subscriber supported. Modern media has been utterly corrupted by the sponsorship model, incentivizing click bait, social media addiction, and the subversive tracking of our browsing and spending habits by corporations in order to bombard us with ads everywhere we go. Please consider supporting us to keep the podcast going by upgrading to a paid subscription here on Substack. Thank you 🙏
If you are a YouTube podcast viewer like me, you will have to get by without time stamps (for now). You’ll also notice that I’ve started a brand new YouTube channel, so make sure to subscribe if you want to see all of my new videos in your feed.
Below are the first three episodes.
Pain, Freedom, The Body, Money, Consciousness, Mapping Reality | Elisha Celeste
What exactly IS freedom?
This word, or ideal, is the central theme of the podcast. As it turns out, this word is really hard to define. Because it’s not just a word - it’s an ideal. And baked into its very nature is everything antithetical to it. Freedom is largely defined by its opposing forces: pain, oppression, constraint, tyranny…and so, we will explore freedom from the perspective of the 5 primary constraints of modern life that compel and/or inspire us to seek freedom in all its manifestations.
In this episode, I’m sharing the inspiration behind the podcast and what this adventure has in store for us if you decide to stick around and join me. Most episodes will feature a guest, but I will also be recording some solo episodes on topics like pain, fascia, the nervous system, living science and the work of Rudolf Steiner, who inspires much of what I do.
Buddhism, Christ, Demons, God, Self Knowledge, Pain, Freedom | Rev. Jonah Evans
Jonah Evans is NOT your average priest. He’s a student of Rudolf Steiner (like me), a believer in karma and reincarnation, and he once gave me a painful gift that set me on a path of healing. We talk about that, and we explore his path from Jungian depth psychologist, devoted Buddhist and being “allergic to Christ” to his experience of encountering Christ as a super-sensible being he could know for himself, which led Jonah to pursue a life of service as a Christian Community priest.
Our conversation covered so many fascinating topics: psychedelics, demons, angels, meditation, Christ, god, grace, the three types of pain and three types of freedom…and more.
Blame, Responsibility, Healing, Bearing Pain, Loving Others | Rev. Jonah Evans
Asking Jonah about his thoughts on Jordan Peterson launches us into a rich and deeply meaningful conversation about archetypes, stories, myths and finding our place in the Whole of human and world evolution. From there we explore blame and responsibility, how to know what spiritual “work” is ours and ours alone to take up, how some pain can turn into a gift we offer the world, while other times we have no choice but to bear pain.
I ask Jonah “how do we love each other?” And we explore this mysterious and painful social phenomenon together.
I hope you enjoy these initial episodes. If you do, please subscribe on your favorite podcast platform, and consider writing me a review or leaving a comment on YouTube.
Thank you for being here!
Hey Elisha, you’re really putting out such provocative and reflective material. I’m enjoying it so much! When I found you less than a year ago, I watched your Kinetix videos each night while rolling-out various body parts. When I had finished pretty much every video, I felt so happy to have “known” you, and a little empty without you there each night, as odd as that might sound. At that time, I had no idea that your thinking beyond fascia would reflect my own regarding so many aspects of our current world. I had to leave my home country of Canada, my beloved profession, family and friends, in order to find a place where I could heal from what still feels like trauma…
And now, in my new home far away, every morning, I hike the mountains with my puppy, listening to your podcasts. It’s only a 2 hour round trip and I have to share the time with Spanish listening practice and Bitcoin audio books… you are there with me for the ‘top of the hill workout’ portion, my reward of sorts…
I just thought I’d share that with you; as I’m sure there are many others who also have busy lives and yet still find the time to prioritize your interviews because of the depth and interest they provide.
I often feel like I could write you letters just on some of the ideas you’ve shared.
I’m so proud of you! And through you, I get to feel proud of myself; a crazy and amazing healing from afar.
So, thank you!
You’re rocking it!!
Other ideas for interviews: (I’ve LOVED your choices thus far!!)
Lauren Geertsen
Dr Jack Kruse
Sara Pugh
They all help me in different ways.
Congrats!
