๐2025 LIVE workshop in Longmont, Colorado
We are more powerful and effective when we gather for a common purpose instead of laboring alone.
โApprenticing Pain + Tending To Our Terrain
A winter workshop with Elisha Celeste

** Early bird pricing until November 20th **
Dear friends,
One year ago I moved back to my beloved Colorado.
Ever since, I've been in a slow dance with this place: the rolling foothills and towering mountains that I traverse as often as possible; the effervescent light, and the trees that smell of vanilla and orange spice; and the people, with their palpable sense of questing for a togetherness that honors the individual and the whole social body.
This place, and the humans devoted to its flourishing, seems to embody the very essence of my work in the world: turning towards pain to find freedom.
Last Sunday I hosted a dinner party with a theme of "law, money and sovereignty."
Seven of us sat around the dining room table for hours engaged in lively discussions about everything from ancient Greek mystery temples (where coins struck by priestesses eventually became money) to the link between the sociopolitical diseases of the last century and the chronic pain epidemic of our time.
Everyone expressed how good it felt to be gathered for the particular purpose of looking for solutions to problems that are far too big for any one of us to solve.
Weโre going to gather monthly as a local working branch of The Human Freedom Project. (More on this another time!)
Back in August, a different group gathered with me at the Yellow Barn Farm for a Summer School to learn Kinetix: my mapping methodology that uses partner fascia release to discover root causes of (and solutions for) pain and disease.
Like the dinner I just hosted, during Summer School we were gathered for a common purpose: to work our way up from the body towards the higher, divine element of the human being in order to understand ourselves in the context of pain and its promise of transformation.
Group experiences will bring us exponentially closer to our goals than laboring in isolation by ourselves.
If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.
After 8 years of teaching online classes and courses about acute and chronic pain (and how we transform it), and about diseases (and how we heal), and about boundary violations and how the body stores (and releases) trauma...it's become clear to me that when we do this work together - in person - answers and results are more immediately forthcoming, while the impact of our efforts have the potential to create permanent shifts in our entire being; and not just for each of us as individuals, but as a whole group.
When we gather for a common purpose like this, we are a living microcosm of the whole human family. Which means our shared labor ripples outward to become a healing impulse in the world.
In February, 2025 we will gather again at the Yellow Barn Farm - a 100 acre working regenerative farm and event venue - for a new โKinetix workshop:
Apprenticing Pain + Tending To Our Terrain
A winter workshop with Elisha Celeste to learn the art and science of pain alchemy.
For the past 20 years I've been an apprentice to pain of all kinds: emotional, social, physical, psycho-spiritual, economic...
Pain has been my greatest teacher.
I'm constantly amazed that for all our intelligence as a species, itโs still our impulse when pain visits us - in any of the above domains of human experience - to immediately reach for relief and deliverance.
This is a fact that tells us a lot about our nature as spiritual beings.
And about the nature of freedom itself.
Rarely, when pain visits us, do we stop and ask ourselves
"What is pain, anyway?
What is its true nature and purpose?"
But that is precisely what is needed.
When we oppose ourselves to pain - whether it is manifesting in our bodies, or in the body of society with its realms of politics and economics - we learn nothing. We gain nothing.
On the other hand, when we turn towards pain with genuine curiosity and humble devotion to pain as teacher, we learn so much; and we have everything to gain.
Because when we understand the role that pain plays within the human organism - and indeed, within society at large because the two are intricately linked - then we can develop a conscious relationship with this phenomenon that grants us co-creative powers with our body (and with society, planet and cosmos) for healing, regeneration and freedom.
During the โโwinter workshopโโ we will explore pain from many perspectives: physical, social, emotional, and psycho-spiritual as well as planetary and cosmic (because light, water and magnetism have profound impacts on our well being).
We will examine the nature of our individual and collective stories about pain, and the seed of potential embedded in every painful experience.
Instead of seeking power over our bodies (or relationships), we will seek the practices and knowledge that grant us power with our bodies (and relationships).
This is personal transformation work.
This is deeply healing social work.
This is culture-building work.
This is living science work.
This is holy work.
Due to the physical and transformational nature of this workshop, you will be asked to book a Zoom call with me, Elisha, before registering. Yes, you will be talking to me - not someone else.
To grow something solid, we must devote ourselves to the tending of roots.
During my five years away (I first moved to Colorado in 2011, before leaving in 2018), I imagined that the scope of my work would take me on a global adventure: workshops scheduled worldwide, with summer intensives in Europe and winter retreats in Mexico...
But after returning to Colorado last year it has become clear that this is the place I am being called to lay down roots not only for myself, but for a physical Kinetix Academy: a dojo and living lab where we will do this transformational, scientific, culture-building, social healing and holy work together.
Since it will take time to build this Academy (which is intended to be one division of the School for Living Science as a whole), these kinds of workshops and classes will serve as the foundation.
Perhaps someday, after growing a local Kinetix Academy with deep roots here in Colorado, I will venture farther afield. For now, if you want to learn with me in person, you will need to come here.
More Kinetix events will be announced as soon as we get them scheduled.
Please consider coming if you are:
curious about fascia
fascinated by the science of water and the 5 kinetic energies of the planet and human body: light, magnetism, thermal, sound vibration, and mechanical
a citizen scientist interested in learning the principles and methods of living science that help us apprehend the True nature and functions of the human organism
seeking an empowered relationship to pain and your body
a practitioner in the healing arts who works with people in pain
interested in becoming a full time Kinetix practitioner
We will eat nourishing meals made by a local chef using local ingredients.
There will be tears and laughter and learning and connection, with ample opportunity for personal transformation that will send you home changed for the better.
Questions?
Please read the entire โworkshop pageโ.
Then, book a call with me.
I will be happy to answer all of your questions during the Zoom call.
I am so looking forward to gathering with those of you that feel called to this event!
With love,
Elisha
I wish I could be there!! Hoping one day your workshop will have people from Canada who can bring back circles here
Hi Lisa! That is one of the goals - to have Kinetix students bring back the foundational skills to host stepping parties in their local area. ๐
